See the Niagara Escarpment like you've never seen it before, through the eyes of a hydrogeologist. This bus tour will start at the upper Niagara River, and travel past the Falls through the spectacular Gorge, stopping at the famous Thompson’s Point. The tour will continue to St. Davids where the Gorge and downstream end of the Whirlpool will be viewed along with the St. Davids Landfill and various former water supply recharge ponds. We will get a chance to visit the Fonthill Kame complex and for the geomorphologists, the tour will continue to Ball's Falls where the escarpment itself is laid bare. Before returning, we will get a chance to venture off the path a bit and visit a one of Niagara’s best local wineries.
